- Framesets were removed from the HTML 5.0 standard. THEY ARE OBSOLETE!
- Search Engine robots do NOT read pages within framesets & therefore your website will NOT be index correctly.
- Framed web sites can be problematic for smaller web browsers such as those on mobile devices e.g. smartphones.
- Visitors can’t bookmark websites written using framesets.
- Visitors can’t print websites correctly when they have been written using framesets.
- Framests can confuse assistive technology (AT) for example screen readers or other equipment used for disabled access.
